One thing I learned at this place: the sun sets really damn quick. Fabulous place though.

Martini please. Shaken, not stirred…I wish I was Mr. Bond.

Not really a place, but a memory nevertheless. Meet Lucy Annabell Higgins, the English Bulldog that Annie adored so much that she gave her a full first, middle, and last name. Someone go buy her and give her a good home.

Ferris wheel in a big blue sky. So typical, yet so colourful. Located on the artificial island of Odaiba in Tokyo Bay, which accomodates Fuji Television studios, various malls, a “Little Hong Kong”, a replica of the Statue of Liberty, and this Ferris wheel. This was the largest wheel until the London Eye opened in 2000.

Believe it or not, this area is next to a desert. Probably the most beautiful lake & snow capped mountains I’ve seen. Comprable to Lake Louise. It tells you that there still are beautiful and clean places in China, though probably not for long. Or maybe because this place was so remote?

The scene of political demostrations. Reminds me of the infamous political comedy and drama in Taiwan. It’s a simple game, really: whoever is in power, go make his/her life miserable. A typhoon hit? Blame the president. Democracy at its best.
